1. General Policies (Applies to All Services)
Mobile Setup: Client must provide a clean, well-ventilated area with access to a power outlet. Protective floor covering and tent are provided by SunKissed Spray Tans.
Preparation: Exfoliate and shave at least 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid applying lotions, deodorants, or perfumes before your tan.
Aftercare: Do not shower, sweat, or apply lotion until after your recommended rinse time. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided.
Health & Safety: Please inform your spray tan artist of any skin allergies, conditions, or pregnancy. All products are organic, vegan, and cruelty-free.
Results Disclaimer: Every tan is customized to your unique skin tone. Color results vary depending on preparation, lifestyle, and individual skin chemistry.
Travel: Mobile appointments outside our standard service area may include a travel fee, discussed prior to booking.
Rescheduling & Cancellations: 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the session or incur a fee.
Refund Policy: All services are non-refundable once performed. Package sessions may not be transferred or refunded.
2. Single Mobile Spray Tan
Payment: Due in full at time of booking.
Appointment Length: Approximately 45 minutes per person.
Touch-ups: Minor uneven fading may occur; a discounted touch-up can be arranged within 3 days if needed.
Expiration: Must be used within 30 days of purchase.
3. “Glow Club” – 3 Spray Tans per Month
Membership Period: Includes 3 spray tans to be used within 30 calendar days from purchase date.
Rollover Policy: Unused sessions do not roll over.
Renewal: Memberships automatically expire; you may repurchase anytime.
Scheduling: Client is responsible for booking each session within the 30-day period.
Cancellation Policy: 24-hour notice applies to all appointments; missed sessions are forfeited.
Non-Transferable: Memberships are for one individual only and may not be shared.
4. “Glow Pass” – 5 Spray Tans within 45 Days
Usage Window: All 5 sessions must be used within 45 days from the purchase date.
Rollover Policy: Unused sessions expire after 45 days.
Savings: Discount is applied per tan as part of package pricing.
Scheduling: Appointments should be spaced at least 3 days apart to maintain optimal results.
Non-Transferable: Package may not be shared or split among multiple clients.
Cancellation Policy: 24-hour notice required; missed or late cancellations count as one session.
5. Liability Waiver
By booking, the client acknowledges and agrees that:
SunKissed Spray Tans and its representatives are not liable for allergic reactions, skin irritation, or color outcome.
The client has disclosed all relevant health information and understands the nature of the service.
The client releases SunKissed Spray Tans from all claims arising from participation in the service.
Pregnancy Acknowledgments:
DHA & Spray Tan Acknowledgment
I understand that Sun-Kissed Spray Tans uses a natural, vegan sunless tanning solution containing DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), the active ingredient commonly used in sunless tanning products. DHA works by temporarily reacting with proteins in the outermost layer of the skin to create a cosmetic bronzed appearance and does not involve UV exposure.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Research Acknowledgment
I understand that while DHA-based spray tanning products are widely used within the beauty industry, available research regarding spray tanning during pregnancy, possible pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility, or the postpartum period may be limited or not fully conclusive. I understand that there may be unknown risks, sensitivities, or effects that have not been fully studied or established.
Medical Recommendation
I understand that Sun-Kissed Spray Tans is not a medical provider and cannot provide medical advice, recommendations, or guarantees regarding spray tanning while pregnant or possibly pregnant. I understand that clients who are pregnant, possibly pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or postpartum are encouraged to consult with their OB-GYN, physician, midwife, or other licensed healthcare provider prior to receiving spray tanning services.
Protective Measures
I understand that Sun-Kissed Spray Tans provides nose plugs during the spray tanning session to help reduce inhalation exposure to airborne tanning particles. I understand that nose plugs are optional, are not medical-grade respiratory protection, and do not guarantee complete prevention of inhalation exposure. I understand that I may request additional accommodations, including minimizing facial spraying or holding my breath during facial application if desired.
Voluntary Assumption of Risk
By proceeding with this appointment, I voluntarily choose to receive spray tanning services and acknowledge that I am doing so at my own discretion. I understand and voluntarily accept any known or unknown risks associated with receiving spray tanning services during pregnancy, possible pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility, or the postpartum period.
If I choose not to consult with my healthcare provider prior to receiving this service, I acknowledge that this decision is being made voluntarily and solely by me, and I accept full responsibility for that choice.
Release of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Sun-Kissed Spray Tans, its owner(s), employees, contractors, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, concerns, damages, losses, or expenses that may arise from or relate to spray tanning services received during pregnancy, possible pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility, or the postpartum period, including any alleged effects associated with DHA or other ingredients contained in the tanning solution.
I understand that no guarantees, warranties, or medical claims regarding safety during pregnancy or postpartum have been made by Sun-Kissed Spray Tans.
